Rasmussen/Fox News' Survey - A Citizen Patriot for Governor?

Christy Mihos, who just announced his campaign, is leading Governor Patrick 41-40 according to Rasmussen. I think that speaks more to Christy the person than Patrick the politician.

I understand from fellow Citizen Patriots that Christy drew a Huge Crowd in Worcester Monday Night. Surrounded by State Reps Peterson, Polito and Evangelidis, the crowd broke into applause when Christy mentioned his campaign team, Senior Political Strategist Dick Morris and Statewide Director Joe Manzoli.

No doubt it will take experienced professionals with winning track records to get a Republican elected in this state. Morris is no stranger to Massachusetts politics. He ran Ed King and defeated Mike Dukakis. He ran Bill Weld and won, and he ran Prop 2½ in 1980 and won.

Manzoli has helped candidates win elections at just about every position, from Selectmen to Congress. He directed Jeff Beatty for US Senate and built up a grass roots organization second to none in this state.

I don't know about you but something tells me that Christy has both the money and the manpower needed to win the corner office.

Let’s hope the Republicans are smart enough this time around to back a winner.
