You can never say "Thank You" enough

This is a story I am proud to relay. The flag pictured above was given to my nephew by a true hero and a great American.

My sister in law and my 3 year old nephew were in line at McDonalds yesterday. Standing in line near them was a soldier in full uniform and my sister-in-law brought her son over to the soldier to say thank you. In so doing, she proceeded to tell her son that in contrast to the Super Hero toys he was accustomed to playing with, he was now in the presence of a real life, flesh and blood American hero. The soldier was so moved and so grateful for the appreciation that he proceeded to rip the flag off the right arm of his uniform and hand it to the young boy. He told him to take care of it and treasure it as he had when he wore it proudly during his 3 recent tours of duty in Iraq.

If you think for one minute that a soldier would be anything but grateful to hear words of encouragement and gratitude, think again. This unnamed soldier proved that a simple thank you to them is worth everything they fight for.
